The only remaining discomfort is the itching, which I understand is the last stage of shingles.
When I came to your office I was suffering with a tremendous burning pain on my left side around my ribcage. I had been taking Valtrex, an antiviral medication, which at the end of its course, seemed to neither relieve the discomfort nor clear the rash. I had been suffering with intense pain for two weeks and relying on pain medication, which I could only take when I could stay at home.
